Along with her husband Milton, Patricia Wallace was instrumental in supporting the MBF in its earliest days. With their backing, encouragement, and leadership, the MBF survived its formative years and evolved into a thriving, dynamic, and truly regional organization. Pat’s extraordinary life was marked by generosity, philanthropy, and the breaking of barriers. In her honor, the MBF  has named this program The Patricia Wallace Memorial/Master Brokers Forum Scholarship.

2015: Amanda Aguilar

A non-traditional college student, Amanda Aguilar is a working mother who supports her family while also attending Florida International University’s School of Business. Amanda is already a licensed Realtor working in Miami.


2015: Noe Perrin Fontana

A junior who is double-majoring in Finance and Real Estate, Noe Perrin Fontana attends FIU’s Honors College, earning a place on the Dean’s List. Noe has been trading and investing since high school, and developed a passion for real estate while in college. He earned his real estate license earlier this year.


2014: Joshua Mimoun

Joshua Mimoun, a graduate of the Hillel Community Day School, is a senior at Florida International University, pursuing a career in real estate and insurance. Upon graduation, he will complete his college career as one of the top students at FIU’s School of Business.


2014: Albert Seara

Raised in Homestead, Albert Seara is a graduate of Ferguson Senior High School, where he started at quarterback on the school’s football team all four years he attended. He has already begun his real estate career through working with his father (a real estate broker), helping him to run the family business. Albert is vice president of FIU’s Real Estate Student Association.


2013: Andrew Franco

Born and raised in South Florida, attended Fienberg Fisher Elementary, Nautilus Middle School, Miami Beach Senior High School. During sophomore year, joined UNIDAD of Miami Beach’s (Hispanic community service organization) “New Generation Leadership and Workforce” program. After high school, enrolled in Miami Dade College, chose real estate as an elective for business A.A degree; sparked his interest in Real Estate. Transferred to FIU in his junior year, chose to major in Real Estate, will complete major in the spring or summer.


2013: Thomas Olloqui

Born and raised in Miami; graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. Pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, with a double major in Human Resource Management and Real Estate. Has worked for the School Board of Miami-Dade County in the office of Risk and Benefits Management. Will be applying for State of Florida real estate license in the coming months.


2013: Gabriel Rezende

A senior pursuing degrees in Finance, Real Estate, and Marketing. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, living in Miami since he was two. Well versed in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Has worked at The Keyes Company, The Steinmauer Family, and now at P.U.R.E Investments, predominately working with real estate investment and property management.


2013: Danilo Rupena

Currently a junior, seeking a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate. Heavily involved in several student organizations, most notably the Real Estate Student Association. (Instituted an educational program which allows students to analyze different types of real estate case studies.) Additionally, works as a student assistant for FIU’s College of Business. Upon completing his degree, intends acquire a Masters in Urban Planning.


2013: Leslie Sanchez

A senior seeking a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate. Expected to graduate spring 2014 with Magna Cum Laude. In fall 2014, she will be commencing her pursuit of her Master of Science degree in International Real Estate.

Born and raised in Miami, built her already strong math skills through accounting positions beginning at the age of 20; ultimately worked her way up the ladder of a prestigious South American real estate development and investment firm located on Brickell. Returned to FIU to finish her undergraduate degree.
