ARTECH HOSTS MASTER BROKERS FORUM PANEL DISCUSSION ON “SURVIVING THE NEW BANKING CLIMATE”
ArTech developers Fortune International and Shefaor Development welcomed the Miami Chapter of the Master Brokers Forum (MBF) to their Aventura property on June 10, 2009. South Florida’s elite real estate professionals mingled on the lower-level lobby of the ultra-luxe, tech savvy condo project that runs along the Intracoastal Waterway, lined by its private marina that features slips for yachts up to 110 feet.
MBF members sipped cocktails and snacked on lite-bites before moving to the 3rd floor community room for a discussion focused on “Surviving the New Banking Climate”. Moderated by MBF board member and Majestic Properties president Jeff Morr, the panel included Ana Cruz-Taura, regional community development director with the Federal Reserve Bank, Calixto Garcia-Velez, region executive with Firstbank of Florida, and Susan Walker, Miami-Dade area sales manager with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Issues such as new lending standards, appraisals, foreclosures, and short sales were discussed among the panelists and guests. ArTech’s Director of Sales, Cindy Darnaby, and End Loan Specialist, George Fraguio, presented highlights of the property’s amenities, as well as details on the sales and leasing opportunities. Following the program, guests enjoyed mini-desserts served in each of the property’s model residences.
